The popular tamil Nadu Premier League series will start in June. It has been arranged for the 6th season in an environment where 5 seasons have been successful so far. The series runs from june 23 to July 31.
This series is designed to be similar to the IPL series. A total of 28 league matches will be played in Dindigul, coimbatore, and Salem. The playoffs will be held in places like coimbatore and Salem.
Like the IPL, the TNPL series has doubleheaders. Out of a total of 6 doubleheaders, the first match will start at 3.15 pm and the second match will start at 7.15 pm. It is not yet certain whether fans will be allowed to watch the matches. Negotiations are underway.
Many tamil Nadu players including Sai kishore and varun Chakraborty are performing well in the IPL series. It is expected that the tamil Nadu players will move on to the next stage from the TNPL series this year as well.
