cricket in india-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>the board of control for cricket in india (BCCI) has made a big change in the daily allowance policy of its employees of various departments. In an important meeting held on june 14, the board has decided to cut the allowances of employees working during domestic tournaments and big cricket events, for which new guidelines have been issued. Under this, now bcci employees will be given a limited amount as allowance every day.

Money was not received since january, now the amount has been fixed

bcci had not given daily allowance to any employee since january 2025. Now the board has clarified the domestic tournament allowance policy. Under this new policy, employees will be paid only Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 daily. Under this amount, earlier employees used to get more money in some cases, but now according to the new policy, the daily payment of Rs 7500 has been removed.

A bcci source told PTI that after tax deduction, employees will be paid around Rs 6,500 per day. This policy will provide relief to the employees of the board's financial and media department who have worked in this year's IPL and Women's Premier League but were not paid yet.

IPL and Women's Premier League employees will benefit

Staff who travel during tournaments like IPL or WPL will also be given their remaining amount as per this new policy. If an employee travels for the entire 70 days of IPL, then that employee will get around Rs 7 lakh at the rate of Rs 10,000 per day, but if an employee has traveled only for a few days of the tournament, then he will be given 60% allowance. On the other hand, the staff who have not traveled at all in the tournament will be given only 40% allowance. All this calculation will be decided on the basis of 70 days.

Changes were also made in the travel policy

Till now, as per the bcci travel policy, employees used to get Rs 15,000 per day for four days of travel and if the tournament was longer like IPL or WPL, then this amount was reduced to Rs 10,000 per day. Along with this, they were also given a fixed allowance of Rs 7,500. Now bcci has completely removed this fixed allowance. That means now employees will only get daily allowance.
