Madison Clark makes her official return in a new image from Fear the Walking Dead season 7. Fear was the first of many spinoffs from AMC's long-running zombie apocalypse thriller The Walking Dead, which premiered in 2010 and is presently in its third and final season. Fear the Walking Dead, which debuted in 2015 and is now in its seventh season, was set before the events of The Walking Dead, but the timelines have now converged, with Fear the Walking Dead season 7 meeting up with the timeframe of The Walking Dead's early seasons.

Madison Clark, played by Kim Dickens, was one of the series' main protagonists for the first four seasons. She was a guidance counsellor who did everything she could to keep her children Nick (Frank Dillane) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) safe from the approaching zombie apocalypse. She was last seen in season 4 episode 8, "No One's Gone," where she was assumed dead after locking herself in a baseball stadium with a swarm of Walkers to protect the other survivors.

Now, EW has released a new shot from Season 7 of Fear the Walking Dead, which shows Dickens in her long-awaited comeback. She's in a weird interrogation chamber, wearing the same leather jacket she was last seen in. While the reasons surrounding her supposed death and subsequent reappearance have yet to be revealed, they are most likely connected to the recent reappearance of fellow assumed dead characters Cole (Sebastian Sozzy), Douglas (Kennetth Wayne Bradley), and Viviaan (Kenneth Waayne Bradley) (Rhodaa Griffis).
