Adil El Arbi (Bad Boys for Life) and Bilall Fallah (Ms. Marvel) compare working on the Marvel Cinematic Universe series to the upcoming Batgirl film in the DC Extended Universe. Iman Vellani will make her MCU debut in Marvel Studios' new live-action Disney+ series, Ms. Marvel, in just a few days. The Marvels will begin with the introduction of Kamala Khan, a 16-year-old Pakistani American teen who struggles to fit in until she gains the abilities of the heroes she admires.

The Ms. Marvel comic by sana Amanat and Steve Wacker features a Captain Marvel superfan who can change her shape and size. Ms. Marvel, based on Bisha K. Ali's Ms. Marvel, has its heroine gain a pair of cosmically powered bracelets that generate light, similar to DC's Green Lantern. The teasers and promos for Ms. Marvel have formed a vivid image of the coming-of-age drama. Before working on Warner Bros./DC Films' Batgirl, which concluded filming in April, El Arbi and Fallah directed episodes 1 and 6 of that tale.

Adil El Arbi: It is a tremendous honour. It's a huge honour. Ms. Marvel is definitely on the brighter side of the spectrum, with her animation style, whereas Batgirl is on the darker side. It's Washington, D.C. It's the city of Gotham.

Bilall Fallah: Yeah, Gotham City!

Adil El Arbi: And it's just incredible to have Leslie Grace playing that role. We fell in love with that character when we were youngsters watching the Batman Animated Series, so we're hoping this is a model of that style, as well as Tim Burton films, and having Keaton as Batman as our first superhero? It's only a fantasy.

Bilall Fallah: It was a goosebump-inducing experience.

He's the original Batman, Adil El Arbi!
