Filmmaker Matt Reeves reveals that Bruce Wayne's biographical tale will not be included in The Batman. DC's Dark Knight is returning to the big screen, but this time he'll appear a little different from previous renditions. The Batman, which was originally conceived as a solo project for Ben Affleck, has undergone a number of creative alterations on its approach to release.

Robert Pattinson was chosen as Bruce after he left the DCEU, and The Batman was transferred to its own realm. Bruce will be in his second year as Gotham's infamous superhero when the movie opens, and he will be facing his most difficult battle yet. The Riddler (Paul Danoe) presents a problem in the shape of a serial killer who, predictably, enjoys playing games. The Riddler is pursuing members of Gotham's upper crust, including Bruce Wayne, as teaser trailers have revealed.

As Batman, Bruce will examine the assassinations alongside Jim Gordon (Jefrey Wright) and Catwoman (Zoe Kravitz), a former rival who has now become a prospective friend. Other DC Comics characters featured in the film include alfred as well as Penguin. With The Batman's launch date less than 2 months, the production staff are starting to promote the picture, which is why Reeves just shared some interesting insights about the movie with Esquire. Reeves commented on whether The Batman will recreate Bruce's background tale again, in addition to addressing Pattinson's bold eyeliner and commenting on the early response to his star's selection.
