Another noida move..!? Demolition of 7-star resort..!?

A luxury Rs 200 crore 7-star resort in kerala is reportedly likely to be demolished for violating CRZ rules. A 7-star resort building is reportedly likely to be demolished due to encroachment of government land and construction. There is a lot of excitement because it is expected to happen in Kerala. The kerala government recently acquired the land after Kapiko kerala Resorts Pvt Ltd alleged that it had encroached on a portion of the government land in Porumbukku. Alappuzha district collector Krishna Teja, who acquired the land occupied by the resort group, said that the management would submit an action plan to the local panchayat to demolish the building constructed on the land. Demolition of the resort is said to begin within a week after the district administration gives final approval to the action plan.An investigation has revealed that the acquired 7-hectare land belongs to Panavalli village Panchayat and 54 luxurious villas were built in it in 2007. Today's value of these villas is estimated at Rs.200 crores. While a case was filed in the kerala high court in this regard, the court ordered the demolition of these buildings in 2013. The supreme court upheld the decision of the high court while the administration filed a case in the supreme court against this.It is to be noted that earlier in 2020, four apartment blocks near the Vembanad backwater in Kochi, kerala were demolished on the orders of the supreme court for violating environmental norms.
