As the corona cases rise to a peak in the country as well as in the individual states, the state governments have been coming up with schemes to provide free food and education to the people who lost their parents or guardians.

On thursday madhya pradesh chief minister shivraj singh chouhan announced that children who lost their parents to COVID will be given free education and Rs 5,000 monthly pension. He further said, “we cannot leave such families, we are the government of the state and we will support these children. Such children need not worry, as they are the children of the state, and  the state will take care of them.”

Also, the cm said that the government will give them a monthly pension of Rs. 5000. He said, ‘we will give Rs 5000 per month pension to children who have lost their parents/guardians in this COVID pandemic. We’ll also arrange free education for these children and free ration for these families.”

Also, he said that the state will grand loans to women, who want to work or start a business, on government guarantee. Coming to the COVID-19 cases, on wednesday 8,970 fresh cases and 84 deaths were reported.
