Rajinikanth Responds to Political Speculation

Veteran actor Rajinikanth has stated that he is not the kind of person who would try to prevent actor Vijay from becoming the chief minister of tamil Nadu.

The actor made the remarks while speaking to reporters outside his residence at Poes Garden in Chennai, responding to questions related to Vijay’s political entry and recent discussions in political circles.

“I Do Not Have Such Intentions”

Addressing speculation about political rivalry, Rajinikanth clarified that he does not possess the mindset to obstruct anyone’s political ambitions.

“I am not such a low-minded person to stop Vijay from becoming chief minister,” he reportedly said, putting an end to rumors suggesting differences or political competition between the two popular actors.

His statement has drawn attention across political and cinema circles in tamil Nadu, where both actors command massive fan followings.

Growing Political Interest Around Vijay

The comments come at a time when Vijay has been increasingly active in politics through his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. His political moves and public engagements have sparked widespread discussion about his future role in state politics.

Political observers believe Vijay’s growing popularity among youth and fans has made him an influential figure ahead of future elections in tamil Nadu.

Rajinikanth Maintains Neutral Stand

Although Rajinikanth has previously expressed political views and briefly explored political entry, he has largely maintained a neutral public stance in recent years.

His latest comments are being interpreted as a gesture of goodwill toward Vijay and an attempt to avoid unnecessary political controversy.

Reactions from Fans and Political Circles

The statement quickly gained attention on social media, with fans of both actors welcoming the remarks. Supporters described it as a sign of mutual respect between two of tamil cinema’s biggest stars.

Political analysts also noted that Rajinikanth’s response may help calm speculation surrounding rivalry narratives that often emerge whenever cinema and politics intersect in tamil Nadu.
