Indian-American was crowned at the Miss World 2021!!!


In the seventeenth Miss World beauty pageant being held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the title went to Karolina Bielawska's Poland. Karolina Bielawska won this competition by defeating Miss US, Miss Indonesia, Miss Mexico, and Miss Northern ireland in the final round. She was crowned and declared the winner by Tony Ann Singh of Jamaica, who was Miss World in 2019. The competition took place at the Coca-Cola music Hall in San Juan.


Karolina expressed her happiness:

 After winning, Karolina said, "I am very honored to wear the Miss World crown. I look forward to working. I will always remember this beautiful chapter of Puerto Rico." According to missworld.com, Karolina is currently doing post-graduation in management i.e. taking a master's degree, her wish is to do a doctorate in the same subject in the future.

The first runner up has an indian connection

In this competition, Shree saini of Indian-American was the first runner-up, while Olivia Yace from Côte d'Ivoire became the second runner-up. Shree saini is an American of indian origin, her family originally comes from the ludhiana district of Punjab. Her family moved to washington dc when she was five years old. Shree Saini's participation in the Miss World pageant is also considered special because she is suffering from rare heart disease and has been on a permanent pacemaker since then.
