He is very famous as a folk singer. Currently, he is the Chairman of telangana Warehouses. He was with family in nagarkurnool last night. He spent time with his family at his farmhouse in Karukonda. It was at that time that Saichand had a heart attack. A family member took him to a private hospital in Nagarkurnool. The condition there was critical and he was admitted to care with the doctor's advice to move him to hyderabad for better treatment. Attempts to save him were unsuccessful. Care doctors declared him dead at night.
