Popular actress devoleena bhattacharjee has entered a new phase of her life after tying the knot with the love of her life Shehnawaz Sheikh on 14th december 2022. Their wedding was a very private affair with only 15 close friends and family members in attendance. Since then she is enjoying her life to the fullest and sharing mesmerizing glimpses. She was seen wearing a pink saree with 'Adigai' jewellery, which included a specially carved petal necklace and matching earrings. devoleena opened up about the real reason behind her secret wedding ceremony with Shehnawaz. He revealed that since their marriage was an impromptu affair, the couple had planned to keep it a secret till their grand reception. However, she could not stop herself from sharing wonderful moments from her wedding and updating her fans. Talking publicly about her husband, she had said, "I wanted it that way. The decision to get married was sudden. We had a court marriage, followed by a get-together in the evening at a resort in Lonavala." It happened. His family had organized a reception for us a day later. We had decided to keep it a secret, but it didn't happen because I couldn't stop myself from posting our pictures. It was such a beautiful moment, But Shonu (as she fondly calls Shahnawaz) finds it strange to get attention and wants to keep our marriage private.

devoleena talked about the moment when she proposed to the prince of her dreams, Shehnawaz. He revealed that, "He is a fitness trainer. However, he runs a cable and internet business. We met at a gym about four years ago and dated for three years before tying the knot. We used to hang out. I was attracted to him soon. I was the one who proposed him and even now when we decided to get married, I was the one who initiated it. I was not very well emotionally those days. I was suffering from back injury and depression. My family was not here with me and they took care of me. He was the angel sent for me. He knows how to control my aggression and anger.
