He told how it was the worst year for his career and his personal life. Talking about his breakup with his ex-boyfriend, kartik aaryan kickstarted his bad luck for the year 2020. He told, “2020 went from bad to worse. It started with a breakup and went from bad to worse. It was a very bad year and most of it is on the internet.

B-town celebs always get trolled for the smallest of reasons and sara is no different. Talking further in the same podcast, the 'Love Aaj Kal 2' actress revealed how she didn't get too bothered by all the trolling and criticism she faced that year as she was in a bad shape personally as well. In her words, "Sometimes you know you deserve trolling or when something is really bad, but I don't mind trolling. If you're heartbroken, sad, tired, scared What difference does it make if 20 people are reading, but you yourself are so worried that it doesn't matter."

The year 2020 also brought a downfall in Sara's career as she had to bear the brunt of the unfortunate failure of her film at the box office. Considering that his two back-to-back films 'Simmba' and 'Kedarnath' were massive successes compared to his much-anticipated film 'Love Aaj Kal 2'. sara said, “After 'Kedarnath' and 'Simmba', I was put on a pedestal for which I was not sure I was worthy. I was brutally dragged down after 'Love Aaj Kal 2'."
