He met Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday. He reiterated India's commitment to continue cooperation with russia on all fronts. He invited President Putin on behalf of prime minister narendra modi to visit india later this year, which Putin accepted.


Earlier on Thursday, PM narendra modi received a call from Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. During the call, the prime minister mentioned his visit to Brazil last month. The two leaders then agreed on a framework to strengthen cooperation in trade, technology, energy, defence, agriculture, health, and people-to-people relations.
