Even though tamannaah bhatia began her career with the hindi film Chand Sa roshan Chehra in 2005, she became well-known after appearing in telugu and tamil films.  When questioned about how the hindi and South indian film industries differ, tamannaah related an instance in which she was replaced in a film because she refused to perform a sequence that was deemed "uncomfortable."

Tamannaah stated in the interview that she began her acting career at a very young age. She claimed that because you are young and still don't fully grasp some concepts, people would attempt to undermine your confidence. She claimed to have encountered attempts to degrade her on numerous occasions.

Tamannaah recalled an instance in which she felt uneasy and declined to appear in a scene in a popular South indian star's movie.  The actor instructed the producers to alter the heroine right away.

"You don't have to feel the same way if someone tries to make fun of you.  When I declined to do the scene, the actor yelled at me to switch the heroine.  He chose to treat his co-actor in this manner and voiced his feelings publicly.  But the following day, he approached me and expressed regret for what he had said.  Tamannaah added, "He acknowledged that he shouldn't have acted in that manner and said he was upset and angry."
