Meanwhile, the film's director Nandita opened up about her personal life in her recent interview.

Nandita talked about her separation from husband Subodh Maskara and said that their couple had compatibility issues, due to which they decided to part ways. When asked if it was a difficult decision for her, Nandita opened up about her and Subodh's relationship.

He said, “Relationships are important, for me honesty is more important than having a useless relationship. I know many relationships who are still in their marriages but their relationships are not right. Me and Subodh share a very cordial relationship and my child is the most precious thing in my life. His happiness is above everything else.

When the interviewer asked Nandita why did she decide to separate? So the actress put it very simply and shared that it is never one thing that leads to separation. Revealing how she and her ex-husband Subodh had a hasty marriage. Nandita revealed that they knew each other for only three months before they decided to tie the knot. 

In the same conversation, Nandita also talked about being a single parent and managing her work and child. Talking about the same, she said, “I have gone through my deepest gilt phase. Especially when I was making 'Manto' (film). I had just got separated and it was my first day of shooting with Gurdas Maan. When we were shooting in 45 degree heat with 250 villagers and my baby was stuck around my waist, but these are experiences.
