As per the indian education system, the right age for children to start pre-school is 1.5 to 3 years. However, Debina is sending her daughter to school before pre-school. Debina was in tears as she dropped her elder daughter Liana on her first day at school. The actress shared a glimpse of Liana getting ready and going to school in her vlog. Gurmeet said that he was excited to drop Liana to school.

In her vlog, Debina shared that she got emotional on the day of orientation and then had tears in her eyes in the car. Debina said, “I have started crying again. I feel like she's growing up too fast or maybe I'm just too nervous, it's a fresh start. I am happy, but don't know why I feel like crying. I just remember the day Liana was born and her face.
Gurmeet said, “We used to think in those days (during studies) when the studies would end and now we feel they were the best days.” Debina expressed her happiness after Liana's first day at the play-school. Ki and said, “It was a very priceless feeling. Now I am not emotional at all.

They welcomed their second baby girl Divisha in november 2022. Debina has started her fitness journey once again, as she recently talked about stopping breastfeeding. Talking about handling two kids, Debina once said, "With Liana I am an excited mother and with Divisha I am a seasoned mother."
