Lata Mangeshkar, 92 years old when she passed away, suffered from various organ problems. The well-known singer was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on january 8th with COVID-19 and pneumonia. Today is the late singer's birthday, and sincere tributes to her from fans all over the world have been pouring in.


Lata Mangeshkar's lifeless bones were cremated for the uninitiated in a public funeral with full state honours, complete with the recitation of Vedic hymns and elaborate rituals conducted by Hindu priests. Lata's nephew Adinath Mangeshkar received the National Flag with reverence, folded it ceremoniously, and then politely handed it to the other bereaved family members there.


Mangeshkar was a playback singer from india who also occasionally composed music. Because of her beautiful voice, she was dubbed the "Nightingale of India." She was born on september 28, 1929, and at the age of 13 she started her career in 1942. The melody queen composed songs for more than a thousand hindi movies during the course of a career spanning more than seven decades. She had performed songs in more than 36 different foreign and regional indian languages. Among the many awards she garnered during the course of her career, she also won three National Film Awards. Some of her most well-known songs include Aye Mere Vatan Ke Logon, Babul Pyare, and Lag Ja Gale Se Phir, among others. Asha Bhosle, Hridaynath Mangeshkar, usha Mangeshkar, and meena Mangeshkar are Mangeshkar's four younger siblings who are still alive.
