The oxygen Production resumes at STERLITE copper Plant today morning after a small break. The second wave of Corona has caused huge destruction in the Nation and we can see several people running out of oxygen and many people even lose their lives due to lack of Oxygen. So as per the guidelines from the high court, the STERLITE plant has been reopened and the oxygen production has begun yet again.


The oxygen shortage is seen in most of the states. Initially, the first 35 Metric Tonnes of oxygen which was prepared was sent to tirunelveli government Medical College. Then the production was stopped due to the malfunction of certain instruments in the plant. Now as they are rectified the oxygen production has been restarted and from today afternoon.


The next set of tankers carrying oxygen will be moving to various parts of the tamil Nadu state. tamil Nadu government has already ordered the STERLITE plant to increase the oxygen production to 70 Metric tonnes as most of the hospitals are in dire need of oxygen supply. Many hospitals in the state of tamil Nadu itself are running short of Oxygen. Keep watching this space for more updates in this regard.
