Virupaksha (Mohan Babu) aka Kadiyam babji kidnaps persons from several streams (a politician, a doctor, an educationalist). ira, a National Intelligence Agency (NIA) officer, and her squad are on the hunt for him. ira (Pragya Jaiswal) managed to catch Babji. The overall premise of the film is why babji kidnaps these officials and what happens to them at the end.

Son Of india was written entirely by Mohan Babu. For the duration of the storey, we only see him. He appears to be in much better shape than in his previous appearance, but there is a sense of disquiet about him. Aside from his physical appearance, Mohan Babu, who is famed for his dialogues, has a lot of room here. For example, the caste discourse is beautifully done. However, except from ephemeral times like these, he doesn't have much to do.

Diamond Son Of india is directed by Ratna Babu. It's a typical vigilante drama in which a bereaved parent seeks vengeance. The drama, however, is later linked with a larger concern. Due to the shoddy production and aesthetics, the opening of the film is mind-numbingly terrible. The concept of recalling wonderful indian mythological legends is sound, but the sheer visceral impact of the tackiness makes one laugh out loud.

The opening song then establishes the tone for the rest of the play. However, there is a catch, and it is the filmmaker's experimentation. For the most part, we don't see the rest of the actors (save for Mohan Babu). The concept of a one-person narrative is good, but the execution is where it fails miserably, just like the introduction music. We only see fuzzy faces. It makes one wonder if this was a cost-cutting measure in the wake of the Corona scandal. Otherwise, it's unclear how it contributes to or enhances the narrative.

In several sections, there is an excessive amount of vulgarity that is completely unneeded. The emphasis on female anatomy is offensive. The kidnapping raises questions about what Son Of india is all about, but everyone can see how it's linked to the flashback. It is for this reason that one waits for it, and it arrives in the second part. It's a nice touch to add a minor twist here about how the kidnapping isn't directly tied to him. The crucial flashback is so trite and predictable. The traditional retribution drama that has been done to death and seen countless times follows.
