The interest on the deposit of Rs 41,000 would be evenly split and credited to the girls' accounts every quarter until they reached the age of 21. ram Bhupal reddy, the former headmaster of Yadavalli Zilla Parishad school, said he was upset to see several girls drop out of school because their parents couldn't afford to keep them in school.

With whatever retirement benefit he receives, he had resolved to do something to support such children. He hoped that by doing so, he could ensure that at least some girls would finish their study. He picked 88 girls from low-income households and deposited the entire sum into their accounts through a scheme run by the indian government. At Bhupal Reddy's recent superannuation event, all of the pupils received their SSY account passbooks. ram Bhupal reddy aided pupils from low-income families in whatever way he could during his career.
