According to recent reports, Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, the leader of the ysr congress party and the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, is considering redistributing some of the incumbent MLAs' seats in light of intelligence reports indicating that they are up against strong anti-incumbency in their respective districts. According to poll results, some incumbent YSRC MLAs, particularly in the guntur district, such as alla ramakrishna reddy in Mangalagiri, Ambati Rambabu in Sattenapalli, and vundavalli sridevi in Tadikonda, have little odds of keeping their seats.

Jagan made the decision to abandon sridevi in Tadikonda and as a result chose former minister and MLC dokka manikya varaprasad as the party coordinator, making it clear that he would run in the area's upcoming assembly elections. However, he cannot afford to lose his staunchest supporters, including alla ramakrishna reddy and Ambati. He is reportedly considering rearranging their constituencies as a result. In order to checkmate Nara Lokesh, the tdp general secretary and the son of N Chandrababu Naidu, he plans to move alla to Sattenpalli and replace him with Ganji Chiranjeevi, a famous leader from the weavers' community who just defected from the tdp to YSRC.

There have been rumours that if alla is transferred to Sattenapalli, Ambati Rambabu, who is currently the irrigation minister in Jagan's cabinet, may be relocated to avanigadda in the krishna district. Despite the fact that there are a significant number of Kapu votes in avanigadda, insiders said Ambati is not very interested in relocating there because he would be a complete outsider. He reportedly prefers to move to the guntur (West) constituency, which is now represented by Maddali Giridhar, a tdp to YSRC defector. jagan might prefer Ambati there if he decides not to offer Maddali a ticket.
