The bharatiya janata party leadership in the state is said to have been put in a difficult position by the extensive preparations being made by the state's ruling congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress party, which is led by chief minister Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, for prime minister Narendra Modi's public meeting in Visakhapatnam on november 12. The central government planned the Prime Minister's full agenda because he would be launching a number of Center-related programmes.

At the open event to be held on the premises of the Andhra university Engineering College, Modi will kick off work on a number of projects totaling Rs 10,842 crore. Some of the projects include: work on the railway redevelopment project (Rs 460 crore), modernization of the fishing harbour (Rs 152 crore), widening of the road from sheela Nagar to Convent Junction (Rs 566 crore), installation of the GAIL pipeline from srikakulam to Angul (Rs 2,658 crore), expansion of the road between Ichapuram and Paralakhemundi (Rs 211 crore), ONGC field development project in Eastern offshore (R (Rs 3,778 crore).

The local bjp leadership has no part to play at the meeting because it is an official one. However, the state government would be responsible for making the arrangements for crowd mobilisation.
