On Monday, andhra pradesh chief minister Y.S. jagan Mohan reddy launched a harsh attack against leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu, branding him as a megalomaniac who was acting like a dumped lover by threatening to take back power. The telugu desam party (TDP) leader will say goodbye in 2019, according to jagan Mohan Reddy.

Speaking to a sizable crowd in west godavari district, the chief minister claimed that the kuppam local body elections served as a model for outright rejecting the tdp, and that the opposition leader's threats to get people to vote for him again stem from pure resentment and despair over the development and welfare initiatives being carried out by the state government. He criticised Chandrababu for using emotional blackmail to get votes, saying that his behaviour was akin to that of angry persons who make threats to hang themselves from cell towers.

The chief minister, who took part in a variety of development projects, claimed that the tdp and its supportive media, who adopted a programme of pillage, stash, and devour, are now using profanity. He criticised Jana Sena actor and leader Pawan kalyan by asserting that the foster son's party had grown boisterous. "People said goodbye to tdp in the 2019 elections for its failure to follow the manifesto, and this time the result will be no different," he said, noting that his government has kept 98% of election promises.
