The tirumala tirupati Devasthanams chairman and senior YSRC leader in charge of the party in Visakhapatnam, Y v Subba reddy, reportedly informed the party leaders on saturday that the tdp mla had joined the YSRC. According to sources, Ganta has been in communication with the senior leaders of the YSRC once more after remaining silent for more than a year, giving signals regarding his admission into the party. Finally, according to sources, the chief minister approved of his party membership. YSRC general secretary v Vijay Sai reddy and former minister Avanti srinivas both put up a strong fight against Ganta's entry despite the fact that it was in the news a few years ago.
Ganta also abandoned his objectives after making a vain attempt and began taking an active interest in tdp operations. He also occasionally spoke with the party's president, N Chandrababu Naidu, and occasionally participated in Mahanadu-focused party events. The YSRC leaders and the former minister were reportedly in secret talks. Ganta's decision was hastened by Jagan's decision to relocate his administrative centre to Visakhapatnam because he realised that the TDP's campaign for amaravati might be the end of his political career.
It is rumoured that senior Andhra Botsa minister Satyanarayana took the initiative to invite Ganta to join the YSRC. At the same time, Ganta benefited from Jagan's choice to appoint Subba reddy as the party in charge of affairs in Visakhapatnam in place of Sai Reddy. According to information obtained, jagan has promised Ganta the party nomination for the upcoming assembly elections in the bheemili assembly constituency. It is unknown how Avanti srinivas will respond to Ganta joining the YSRC.
