Bollywood has once again tried to test their luck in 2023 by releasing the final weapon today, but it appears that things didn't go as planned. This friday saw the debut of "Cirkus," the newest film from director Rohith Shetty, and in the days leading up to its release, publicity for the film ignited controversy. Thus, how is the movie so far? While many had anticipated that "Cirkus" would feature classic rohit shetty themes, there isn't much more to the movie than a plot set against a retro backdrop.
Both the comedy and hero Ranveer Singh's double action (playing two characters) failed. While other humour situations are just cliched and tired notions, certain comedy scenes did work. Despite the fact that pooja hegde and Jacqueline were depicted as being quite attractive, they play a much smaller part in the film than the comedic actors. Critics panned the movie for all of these reasons, and the public conversation is also not very engaging.
