According to reports, everything is set for Y S jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, to move his camp office by the end of march to Visakhapatnam, the state's designated executive capital. Although the jagan government had previously established a number of deadlines for moving his office to Visakhapatnam, none of these deadlines could be met due to legal complications and other political factors.

Legal authorities reportedly advised the jagan government that there would be no legal concerns if he shifted his camp office to Visakhapatnam now that the matter is before the supreme court, which has relaxed the time restriction on the completion of works at Amaravati. According to sources, the supreme court will rehear the case on january 31. Regardless of the decision, the government may make preparations for the cm office to begin operating from Visakhapatnam at the end of March.

During the budget session, which will begin in the final week of february or the first week of march, the jagan administration intends to present new laws on the decentralisation of administration. The government would run from amaravati itself up until that point. The chief minister would later relocate to Viskahapatnam, the state's executive capital, presumably by the Ugadi festival, according to reports.
