Imran Khan will not go to jail big relief...

Former prime minister of pakistan imran khan got a big relief from the Lahore high court on Monday. The court granted him bail providing protection from arrest in a case related to violent protests outside the election commission office. During this, a dramatic scene was witnessed inside the court premises, where hundreds of Imran Khan's supporters gathered to show solidarity with their leader. Last year, pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party activists demonstrated after Imran was disqualified by the election commission in the banned funding case.

Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh had directed Imran to appear in the court for the hearing of his bail application for protection from arrest in the case. A court official said that a two-member bench of the high court, headed by Justice ali Baqar Najafi, granted bail to imran khan to provide protection from arrest till march 3. "Imran appeared in the court and told that he wanted to appear last week itself, but the doctors had advised him to take rest as the wound on his leg may take more than two weeks to heal," the official said.

Imran said that he has always had a sense of respect for the courts. The word 'Insaf' is also included in the name of his party. The court granted Imran bail protecting him from arrest till march 3 and restrained the police and any other agency from arresting him.
