On Wednesday, former congress President rahul gandhi accused Mamta's party Trinamool congress of being helpful to the BJP. rahul is trying to create an atmosphere in favour of his party before the meghalaya elections (2023). In a rally in Shillong, he alleged that the TMC had fought the elections in meghalaya only to ensure that the bjp came to power in the northeastern state. He also accused the bjp of behaving like a 'school bully', who does whatever he wants without caring for anyone.

'Everyone knows the history of TMC'
Rahul said you people know the history of TMC. You know about violence and scams in West Bengal. You know its tradition. It spent massive amounts of money in the goa elections and the idea behind this was to help the BJP. Exactly the same thinking is in Meghalaya. TMC wants bjp to be strong in meghalaya and come to power.
'BJP is like school goons'
Rahul also targeted the BJP. He said saffron parties like BJP-RSS are like 'school goons' who think they know everyone, understand everyone and do not respect anyone else. We have to fight together with them. rahul said, congress will not allow bjp to harm the language, culture and history of Meghalaya.
