We've already seen how some telugu fans caused a fan feud on tom Cruise's official social media profile by claiming mahesh babu is more attractive than him. Following a twitter argument, we recently witnessed some Bangalore fans who favored a certain star hero practically chasing another fan down the street. From that annoyance to today's Global Star brawl between junior ntr and ram charan fans, it appears that fans' attitudes haven't changed. But are these disputes taking place as a result of the introduction of social media? Absolutely not.

If we must provide an example, there have been several battles amongst the supporters of different top stars throughout the history of telugu cinema. The supporters of krishna and sobhan babu are frequently at odds, especially during the vintage era. Fans are alleged to have caused a major uproar in the theatres when the movie "Mundadugu," which marked sobhan babu and Krishna's first multi-starrer collaboration, was released. Some supporters used to keep track of how many shots sobhan babu and krishna exchanged during a specific fight, and those who received fewer shots would scream abuse at the other star in theatres around the telugu states.

Similar to how krishna devotees used to leave when sobhan babu and Sridevi's song started playing. Fans of sobhan babu used to get up from their seats when krishna and Jayaprada's song came on the television. All of this may sound ridiculous, but it actually happened in 1983, the year the movie was released. The paruchuri brothers and eminent producer Suresh Babu recently revealed the "40 years" posters for their film "Mundadugu," and they both confirmed the existence of these fan fights. So, the ones that are occurring with rrr credits are ridiculous but not new.
