Contrary to rumours, the daughter of telangana chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao and Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC, Kalvakuntla Kavitha, was released by the Enforcement Directorate on saturday after nine hours of arduous questioning. kavitha arrived to the New delhi ED office about 11 am and left after 8 pm, driving directly to her home. According to the rules, a lady should not be detained for questioning beyond 6 o'clock.

Kavitha was not released by the ED officials until after 8 o'clock, and they kept questioning her about her alleged involvement in the delhi liquor policy scandal. About 3 o'clock, they granted her an hour for lunch before continuing the interrogation. Despite Kavitha's silence, sources claimed the ED officials could interview her again on monday in an effort to learn more about the delhi liquor scandal. According to sources, she was interrogated alone as well as alongside the two defendants, sameer Mahendru and Arun Ramachandra Pillai.

Her personal phones were also taken by the ED officials while she was being questioned. She had to dispatch her personal staff to get her official cell phones in addition. When the police abruptly increased security surrounding the ED office and Kavitha's home, there was briefly tension in the BRS camp. The BRS employees who had congregated in considerable numbers at various locations were dispersed by the police.

This sparked rumours that kavitha could be arrested by the ED at any time. But eventually, at around 8:00 p.m., she emerged, waving to the gathered masses outside the ED office. On the 16th, she will be questioned once more.
