Karnataka election Results - Counting starts..!!!

The 224-member karnataka assembly is currently having its votes counted after a contentious election between the bjp, congress, and JD(S). The outcome will determine the destiny of several powerful individuals, including JD(S)'s HD Kumaraswamy, Siddaramaiah, and DK Shivakumar of the congress, as well as bjp chief minister Basavaraj Bommai.

The outcome of today's election will be vital for the regional party JD(S), the congress in opposition, and the ruling BJP. For the bjp, winning in the state will confirm its electoral supremacy throughout the nation and ensure that it keeps a presence in southern India, where it is actively striving to increase its position. The congress, on the other hand, is looking for a much-needed comeback ahead of important elections scheduled for later this year and the decisive lok sabha campaign in 2024. The JD(S), however, is struggling to stay relevant in karnataka as it loses support to both the congress and the BJP. The majority of exit polls indicate a hung assembly. Will the prediction come to succeed? The majority of the exit polls that were published on May 10 anticipated that Karnataka's mandate would be fragmented.

Most of them projected that the congress would have the upper hand, and a few even predicted that the grand old party would win a majority. If the predicted hung assembly occurs, the three parties may compete to form a post-election alliance similar to what happened in 2018. Later in the day, a clearer picture ought to materialise.
