Malayalam actor Unni Dev's wife has committed suicide after 1.5 years of marriage and this has shocked everyone in the film fraternity. Relatives have raised suspicion on the death of Priyanka, wife of actor Unni Rajan P Dev. They alleged that she was forced to commit suicide due to domestic violence. Unni Dev is the younger son of Late actor Rajan Dev.


As per police reports, priyanka was found hanging at her residence in Vembayam on wednesday at noon. She filed a complaint against her husband a day before her suicide at Vattappara police Station. Speaking to the press, Priyanka's family member reshma said that Unni used to beat priyanka often regarding dowry issues and she initially kept that hidden from her family. 


But as the torture became unbearable she filed a complaint with the police. But Unni started selling her jewelry for his needs. Priyanka's mom also used to transfer money as per his demands. priyanka never told these matters earlier. She was beaten up cruelly. She got a phone call and that led to her suicide.
