A video was shot by someone while driving on the bridge where a COVID patient's dead body was dumped has shocked everyone and the video has gone viral on social media. Additional SP Balrampur Arvind Misra said two persons had been arrested in the case on charges of violation of COVID-19 protocol. The family members of the dead person were booked in UP's Balrampur district after they were caught redhanded in a video while dumping the body into a river in broad daylight. 


The video was shot by some stranger while driving on the bridge. In the video, we can see two men, one dressed in a PPE Kit are lifting the dead body which is wrapped in a bag and was thrown over the bridge into the Rapti river. V.B. Singh, CMO, Balrampur, said an FIR had been lodged against the family of the person whose body was thrown into the river. 



He said the body was identified as Premnath Mishra of Siddharthnagar and he died on May 28th. He further added that the body was handed over to his family as per the COVID-19 protocol. To prevent such, now police are patrolling by boats and they are even supporting with money of Rs.5000 for cremation if they cannot afford it.
