After 18 years, the highly anticipated comedy blockbuster flick gets a sequel and the expectations are higher among the bollywood audience and have the movie filled those expectations with the same director taking the proceedings once again? The story begins with Colonel Kapoor making wedding arrangements for his son akash and at that time, an unknown girl Vaani comes to the house and she claims that akash is the father of her daughter gehna and it leads to all chaos and mayhem. 


How everything gets solved and who is gehna and why Vaani enters the household should be watched on Disney plus Hotstar. First of all, the 156 minutes running time definitely makes us tiresome in this so-called Comedy-drama and we hardly smile throughout the proceedings. Akshay Khanna's cameo out of nowhere is the only positive in this whole sequel and the climax is absolutely ridiculous and all we can say is, better to stay away from this movie. 


The casting is perfect, but the writing has been haphazard and with all those subplots the humor totally looks farcical and many jokes don't even land properly. Pranitha Subash is just used for skin show and she is a perfect miscast as Vaani and apart from her, there are many ill-written characters. We suggest you skip this sequel and take a revisit on the original version of Hungama and that would make your weekend better!
