Sivakumar Sabadham depicts the everlasting friendship between Sivakumar (Hip-hop Tamizha Adhi) and his grandpa Varadharajan (Elango Kumanan). Varadharajan, who was previously a well-known handloom weaver, had to retire due to a variety of challenges. After 20 years, a series of events convince Sivakumar of the value and authenticity of handloom sarees, and he and his grandpa decide to revive the technique of handloom weaving. However, Chandrasekhar, an old pupil of Varadharajan who is now a silk company tycoon, stands in their way. The storyline of Sivakumar Sabadham revolves around Sivakumar's determination to overcome obstacles and revive the ancient craft of spinning.

Adhi is adamant about his goal of creating an emotive family entertainer with a message. It is arguable, however, if the aim and message are well communicated and effectively conveyed. Adhi and his crew have merely scratched the surface of the topic of handloom weaving, and as a consequence, the scenario lacks impact. Adhi has the same amount of vigour and charisma as Sivakumar, and his presentation is lighthearted. As the revered Varadharajan, Elango Kumanan fulfils the description.

Adhi has played to his abilities by taking a simple notion that has the ability to connect effectively with people. The emotionally charged scenes may appeal to family viewers. Despite the fact that the songs lack the charm of Adhi's past chart-topping hits, the musical pair (Adhi - Jeeva) manages to level the playing field with the background sound.

Overall, An Average Family Drama that lacks freshness!
