The opposition telugu desam party in the area has sparked an internal fight when YSRC officials held a public meeting in Anantapur as part of the "Samajika Nyaya Bheri" bus yatra. In the combined Anantapur, the tdp is already divided into two factions: one commanded by former minister Palle Raghunath reddy of Puttaparthy, and the other by the JC family, which includes J C Diwakar reddy, J C prabhakar reddy, and his son J C Asmith Reddy.

Both parties have been verbally attacking each other for quite some time now. The JC family has insisted that the tdp can only survive in Puttaparthy if Palle Raghunath reddy is removed as in-charge; Palle, on the other hand, claims that the JC family has no right to interfere in his constituency. In light of this, the JC group has levelled new charges against Raghunath Reddy. According to the tdp, the jagan Mohan reddy government gave severe orders to all private carriers and educational institutions not to provide any transportation to tdp activists attending Mahanadu, the party's biennial conclave in Ongole.

However, the same transportation companies and educational institutions were required to provide buses and other vehicles for YSRC leaders' public events, which included a bus yatra to emphasise the government's achievements. Palle Raghunath reddy has donated his college buses to the YSRC leaders' public events in Anantapur, according to the JC group, which has been circulating on social media. "Who is the true leader of the TDP?" Is it JC, who shut down his transport operations and lost crores of rupees because a few buses had cases brought against them? Or Raghunath reddy, who arranged his college buses for YSRCP meetings?" the JC group asked, tagging N Chandrababu Naidu, the party's president.
