Komatireddy Rajgopal reddy, a telangana state legislator for the congress, hinted on sunday that he will soon defect to the BJP. According to the representative from Munugode, only the bjp can beat the telangana rashtra samithi (TRS). The congressman added that it is historically necessary to change allegiances. He stated to the media that he believes it is time to switch parties. According to him, the constituency will hold a by-election if the residents of Munugode so choose.
Rajgopal reddy claims that he and Union home minister amit shah spoke about Telangana's predicament rather than politics when they met in New delhi two days ago. He claimed that a state that formerly had a budget surplus is now in a position where it is unable to pay the salaries of its public employees. He claimed that the state was forced into a financial trap by the trs administration. He further asserted that chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao was preparing to win the by-election in Munugode after his loss in the huzurabad by-election.
The mla claimed that despite his admiration for the congress and respect for sonia gandhi, the party has made some poor choices and is not in a position to challenge the TRS. He stated that he cannot work for those who have been imprisoned, referring to state congress chief A. revanth reddy without giving his name. The election of revanth reddy as the party's leader last year was openly criticised by Rajgopal reddy and his brother Komatireddy venkat Reddy, a congress MP.
