"The movie has been in production for a very long time. When my father was still living, I can still recall lying and saying I was filming "Brahmastra." The 39-year-old actor admitted that he used to cover it up by saying that he was filming for another movie. He also credited Ayan Mukerji, the director of his two blockbusters "Wake Up Sid" (2008) and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (2013), for his growth as an actor.
"I've known Ayan since he told me the story of 'Wake Up Sid' in 2008. Before that, I had never met him. He claimed that narrating the movie would only take an hour, but it actually took him five hours. He was sitting on the floor.
