After senior actor and telugu desam party lawmaker Nandamuri balakrishna strongly criticised the renaming of ntr health university to ysr health university in a tweet hours earlier, the ysr congress party responded forcefully. Jogi Ramesh, a senior YSRC figure and the housing minister for Andhra Pradesh, reacted angrily to Balakrishna's comments that he would never divorce ntr from the telugu race and called YSRC officials "dogs" and "crabs."

Who had isolated ntr from the telugu people, Mr. Balakrishna? Who had betrayed your father and seized control of the NTR-founded party and trust? The canine is who? Is chandrababu naidu not your brother-in-law? Did you not appoint him to the position of chief minister? If you force a dog to sit in the CM's chair, have you not betrayed your own father? Ramesh enquired. The minister questioned whether it was not NTR's sons who had abandoned their own father, devalued family values, and run after Naidu when he described balakrishna as the tail of a dog named Naidu. He questioned, "Did you not follow the dog like its tail?"

Ramesh remarked that these morons and idiots could not even fulfil their father's final wish, which was for his sons to teach chandrababu naidu a proper lesson. He criticised, "You preferred to eat the leftovers that Naidu left." The minister claimed that NTR's sons lacked moral principles. "You made the YSRC leaders out to be like dogs. But dogs are dependable. Even that faith doesn't exist in you. You were giggling heartily as your father was removed from office. Do you not feel shame?" he questioned.
