Telangana chief secretary Santhi Kumari directed officials on Tuesday, december 5, to make elaborate preparations in a "grand and befitting manner" for the swearing-in ceremony of chief minister-designate A revanth Reddy, which would take place at L B Stadium on Thursday, december 7.

The CS met with officials and went over the plans for the incoming chief minister's and council of ministers' inauguration ceremonies.

The chief secretary directed all officials to work together to ensure the event's success. The police department has been asked to make proper provisions for bandobust, traffic, parking, and security.

Firefighting equipment and fire tenders will be stationed at the site.

Officials from MAUD were tasked with cleaning, watering, and fogging the arena. Similarly, ghmc authorities were directed to fix the roads leading to the venue. The health department was given the task of arranging for a properly equipped ambulance. Similarly, staff from the energy department were instructed to assure continuous power delivery.

The meeting was attended by DGP ravi Gupta, CP hyderabad Sandeep Shandliya, Special Chief Secretary sunil Sharma, Principal Secretaries S.A.M Rizvi and Shailaja Ramayyar, Secretary to governor Surendra Mohan, GAD Secretary Sheshadri, Secretary R&B srinivas Raju, Commissioner I&PR ashok Reddy, hyderabad Collector Anudeep, and other senior officials.
