Animal, starring Ranbir and rashmika, made waves when it opened in cinemas in december 2023 for a number of reasons. Some people thought sandeep Reddy Vanga's film was poisonous, while others thought it was fantastic. Following the film's release, rashmika was also the target of trolling, with many people claiming that the speech in her Karva Chauth part was unclear. Now that the movie has been out for four months, rashmika Mandhana has finally spoken out about the trolling she experienced.

Rashmika recently made an appearance on Neha Dhupia's programme, where she addressed trolls appropriately and detailed the amount of effort that went into creating the Karva Chauth sequence. She said that once the nine-minute sequence was shot, everyone on set applauded, and she herself believed it was expertly done.

"As long as that's not the case and they're making fun of my films, the films, and my face in the movie when I utter the lines, I don't enjoy it when people make fun of women for their bodies. I am aware of the performance. Five months ago, I completed the performance," rashmika remarked.

“The Karwa Chauth scene which was a nine-minute long scene and while doing the scene, people on the set loved it. They were clapping and felt it was done so well. But the trailer came out and I was trolled so much for that one particular dialogue from the same scene. So I thought, I did the 9-minute long scene and everyone on the set liked it, but people now are trolling me for the same. So am I living in a bubble? Like are people not gonna like this scene? Because you know what you’ve shot, but people don’t know. people just know that like those 10 seconds. So I don’t want to ever be in my life where I’m living in a bubble. I need to be on the ground. I need to talk to people. I need to know what’s really going on,” the actress added.
