Fans who felt that the heist comedy Crew, starring Rajesh A Krishnan, ended too abruptly could be in for a nice surprise. Co-producer rhea kapoor revealed in an interview with Variety that they are thinking about making the movie into a franchise and have an idea for a sequel. In the key parts are Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and kareena kapoor from the crew.
 
"Sequels terrify me so much that ekta Kapoor, my co-producer, gets incredibly irritated with me. However, this is the first movie I completed, and a week later, I received a letter from my authors telling me they had an idea for a follow-up. I thought, This is absurd. This is ridiculous. This movie is so exciting and joyful that I might really watch it this time. However, due of how open-ended the ending is, I honestly think this movie might make a really entertaining sequel," Rhea said.
 
A sequel to Rhea and Ektaa's 2018 buddy movie Veere Di Wedding, which stars Kareena, Swara Bhaskar, Sonam Kapoor, and shikha talsania in the key roles, is now in development. They said that the movie's box office success inspired them to create a larger picture with more ladies and distribute it over easter weekend.
