Patwari strangled his wife to death in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place in Chaurai village under Kundam police station. After strangulating the Patwari, he took his wife's body about 5 kilometers away from the village and threw it in a dam. To mislead the police and family, the accused reached the police station and lodged a missing report. The police became suspicious due to Patwari's repeatedly changing statements. After strict interrogation, the accused told the entire story of the incident. Additional SP pradeep Shende said that Ranjit Marco and Sarla, residents of Chaurai village of Kundam police station area, met in the year 2019. ranjeet was studying BA and Sarla was a B.Com student. Both of them met during a family function in Indore. Since both of them belonged to the same caste, their friendship turned into love.

Wife's body thrown into dam

According to the police, after some time both of them decided to get married. The family agreed to the marriage of both. After marriage, ranjeet was selected for Patwari. At present ranjeet is posted in Shahpura, Dindori. The distance of his village Chaurai from the deployment site is only 30 kilometers. ranjeet goes to Shahpura every day for job. After marriage, both of them also had a son. They have named their son Parth.

Patwari confused with statements

Police said that there was a dispute going on between the two. The reason for the dispute was regarding visiting society and relatives. Sarla did not want to live in the village. The dispute between the two regarding the coming and going of their relatives increased so much that discussions of divorce started taking place. There was a marriage ceremony in Ranjit's neighborhood on the intervening night of 22nd and 23rd April. ranjeet went alone to attend the wedding ceremony. After reaching back home, Sarla started arguing. The wife was angry at not being taken to the wedding ceremony.
