Shiromani Akali Dal President sukhbir singh badal has declared former Chief Parliamentary Secretary Virsa Singh Valtoha as the party president and has also declared him a candidate from Khadur Sahib seat. With this, SAD has finalized the names of candidates for all the 14 lok sabha seats of Pandab and Chandigarh. Earlier, Shiromani Akali Dal had announced the names of candidates in bathinda, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur and Ludhiana. As part of the strategy, SAD has given opportunity to leaders with experience and political legacy on these seats. Along with this, three-time mp from bathinda Harsimrat Kaur has been fielded.
After SAD has declared candidates on all 13 seats of punjab, now if we see the list -

Suspense still remains between bjp and Congress
On the other hand, bjp is still yet to announce the names of four more candidates. Apart from this, congress is also brainstorming the names of candidates for five seats.
Lok Sabha elections will be held in punjab in one phase.
For information, let us tell you that the election commission has finalized the seventh phase of voting for Punjab. Voting on all 13 lok sabha seats of punjab will be held in the last phase i.e. on june 1, 2024. Three days after this, i.e. on june 4, 2024, the fate of the candidates will be decided and the election results will be declared.
