Chandrababu Naidu is making every effort to prevent volunteers from swaying the results in the ysr Congress's favor. Naidu has stated time and time again that he would keep the Volunteer system in place even if TDP+ won. He has recently been spotted promising to find ways to guarantee their monthly income of Rs.50,000. 

He now made a firm declaration. Naidu declared in his Ugadi address that if elected to power in the upcoming elections, he would give volunteers a pay rise from 5,000 to 10,000 rupees. It makes sense that Naidu is concerned about what the volunteers would do. Each volunteer receives fifty residences, and while they sit on the voter's personal information. They can also use the argument that assistance programs won't continue until jagan wins the election to persuade people to support the ysr Congress. All of the volunteers are political appointees, having been personally chosen by MLAs and leaders of the ysr Congress. Will Naidu's announcements entice them?
 
Up until now, the tdp has opposed the Volunteer System, which tells the public how its members labour for the ysr Congress. Naidu's quick shift in position will only create a false picture in the minds of the public. It will be useless if volunteers remain unmoved and if Chandrababu's pronouncements are seen as a sign of desperation.
