Pakistan has lost all of the wars it has fought with India.  The Pakistani army must endure humiliation whenever it clashes with other nations, not just India.

On the other hand, Pakistani army officers are typically wearing uniforms that are embellished with multiple medals. A popular query in this situation is: why are the soldiers wearing so many medals if the Pakistani army consistently loses? Let's examine the history of these pakistan army medals.

India defeated pakistan in the Kargil war (1999), the India-Pakistan war (1947–48), the India-Pakistan war (1965), and the India-Pakistan war (1971).  Pakistan actually faces diplomatic setbacks in addition to military failure.  Why, then, does pakistan give out medals?  It should be mentioned that the army of every nation bestows medals to its soldiers in accordance with their courage, service, etc.

Medals are awarded for gallantry, special operations participation, and battle participation.  Because of this, numerous Pakistani soldiers have received medals despite losing battles.  Medals are also given for domestic operations, like Pakistan's Operation Zarb-e-Azb, in addition to conflicts.  Every nation's army has a custom of awarding medals and decorations.

Similar to India, which has not fought a war in a long time, pakistan also has a situation where soldiers are receiving peacetime decorations from the army.  In addition to the 1970 operations in Balochistan, the siachen issue, Shiite insurgency, and internal matters, the Pakistani army has awarded its soldiers for the 1948, 1965, and 1971 battles.

Pakistan's highest military bravery award is the Nishan-e-Haider. This medal is awarded only to members of the pakistan Armed Forces. It recognizes the highest acts of extraordinary bravery. Following this are the Hilal-e-Jurat, Sitara-e-Jurat, Tamgha-e-Jurat, and Imtiazi Sanad. Non-operational awards include Sitara-e-Bisat, Tamgha-e-Bisat, Tamgha-e-Khidmat Class-1, Tamgha-e-Khidmat Class-2, and Tamgha-e-Khidmat Class-3.
