Although reviews for Akshay Kumar's nationalist flicks have been mixed, kesari Chapter 2 received high marks this time around. However, the movie isn't drawing large audiences in spite of that.  Word-of-mouth probably has the potential to help the akshay kumar film surpass ₹100 crore globally. However, that is still a small amount in comparison to Chhaava, which was praised by many critics for its superficial movie.

Although the nationalistic depictions of tragedies in these two films are largely similar, their box office receipts differ significantly.  Their disparate antagonists may be the cause of this.  The cruelty of british control was depicted in depth in kesari 2.  However, the Mughal emperor aurangzeb was Chhaava's adversary, and that could have made all the difference.

When the Mughals are portrayed as the oppressors, many indians now experience stronger emotions.  Even though history indicates that the british caused more harm, they don't have the same level of intensity.  Achieving a cinematic masterpiece is insufficient; what is driving the indian audience to the theaters right now is rage and passion.  Kesari 2 may not become the box office success it deserves because it appears to have lacked the emotional impact.
