
PM In Andhra Pradesh: PM gifts projects worth ₹58000 crore to Andhra, laying the foundation stone of 74 projects.
PM Modi today gave the gift of several projects to Andhra Pradesh. Which also includes resuming the construction of the Greenfield capital amaravati, the 'dream project' of cm Chandrababu Naidu. These include DRDO's missile test center, Unity Mall in Visakhapatnam, Guntakal-Mallappa Gate rail Overbridge.
Prime minister Narendra Modi on friday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 58,000 crore in andhra pradesh capital Amaravati, which also includes resuming the construction of the Greenfield capital amaravati, which is the 'dream project' of andhra pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The prime minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 94 projects, including capital city institutions, national highways, railway upgrades, and defense-related establishments. As part of restarting the construction of amaravati, the PM laid the foundation stone of 74 projects worth Rs 49,000 crore, including the construction of Assembly, Secretariat, and high court buildings and judicial residential quarters as well as housing buildings for 5,200 families.
PM Modi laid the foundation stone of infrastructure and flood mitigation projects featuring a 320 km long world-class transport network with underground utilities and advanced flood management systems in the greenfield capital city. The infrastructure projects of the land pooling scheme will include 1,281 km of roads equipped with central median, cycle track and integrated utilities in the greenfield capital Amaravati.
During this, PM Modi while addressing the program said- 'Today when I stand on the land of this amaravati, I do not see only this city but I see this dream coming true. A new amaravati and a new Andhra, amaravati is the land where tradition and progress go hand in hand...Today, the foundation stone and inauguration of projects worth about Rs 60,000 crore have been laid here...This project is not just a concrete construction but also a strong foundation for the aspirations of andhra pradesh and the hopes of a developed India'.
Similarly, the PM laid the foundation of nine central projects worth Rs 5,028 crore, such as DRDO's missile test center at nagayalanka in krishna district (Rs 1,459 crore), Unity Mall at vizag (Rs 100 crore), guntakal - Mallappa Gate rail Overbridge (Rs 293 crore) and six national highway projects (Rs 3,176 crore). The missile test center will include a launch center, technical equipment facilities, Indigenous radars, telemetry, and electro-optical systems, which will enhance the country's defense preparedness. The PM ekta Mall or Unity Mall at Madhurawada in Visakhapatnam is envisaged to promote national integration, support the Make in india initiative, promote the 'One district One Product' initiative, generate employment opportunities, empower rural artisans and increase the market presence of indigenous products.
The six national highway projects for which he laid the foundation stone include widening of various sections of NH, construction of elevated corridor, half clover leaf and road over bridges. These projects will enhance connectivity, inter-state travel, reduce congestion and improve overall logistics efficiency.
Similarly, the construction of rail Over rail between guntakal West and Mallappa Gate stations aims to enable freight trains to bypass and reduce congestion at guntakal Junction. Similarly, the PM dedicated three railway projects worth Rs 254 crore to the nation, including doubling and tripling projects. Apart from this, PM Modi inaugurated eight national highway projects worth Rs 3,860 crore, which provide seamless connectivity to religious and tourist places like Tirupati, Srikalahasti, Malakonda, and udayagiri Fort.
While launching the program, andhra pradesh Deputy cm Pawan kalyan said, 'Our youth will not need to go to Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. Soon Andhra Pradesh will generate jobs for all people and attract talent from across the country and the world'
