A scorching hyderabad was relieved on May 10 as clouds parted and raindrops began to fall.  That same day, something was thrown from the sky onto an air Force facility in Jacobabad, pakistan, causing an explosion and the kicking up of smoke and dust.

Apart from receiving unexpected "guests" from above, the only connection between hyderabad and Jacobabad that day was that a product made in Hyderabad's HiTec city, a sophisticated IT corridor in southern India, most likely landed in the rocky desert landscape of Jacobabad, which is 2,000 kilometers away on the Sindh-Balochistan border of neighboring Pakistan.

In reaction to suspected indiscriminate shelling and drone attacks from across the border, the indian defense forces started the ongoing operation Sindoor, which was initiated in the wake of the pahalgam terror assault, and targeted several air bases in Pakistan.  One of the spokespersons for Operation Sindoor, Col Sophia Qureshi, stated during one of her briefings that "The indian armed forces struck pakistan air fields-Skardu, Jacobabad, Sargodha, and Bularika and inflicted serious damage."

Videos of explosion sounds and smoke rising from Shahbaz air Base in Jacobabad surfaced on May 10.  Videos taken by locals and posted on social media also showed damage to a building that looked like an ATC.  The American-made F16 fighter jets are stationed at the strategically and militarily significant Shahbaz air base.

A quick examination of the satellite photos taken between 2022 and 2025 demonstrates that the pakistan air Force's cargo aircraft, F-16s, and helicopters are present close to the damaged location.  There are also what appear to be Augusta Westlands Leonardo helicopters visible in previous satellite photos.  A hangar was severely damaged and an ATC was partially damaged as a result of the indian military's operation, according to many news accounts that referenced historical and current satellite imagery.

The debris of the indian aerial vehicles used in the strike was purportedly seen in a few videos.  The manufacturer's data were shown on one of the local-held components.  It was said that Ananth Technologies was the manufacturer, and the address was written as hyderabad, India, together with the official company email and the pin code, 500081, which corresponds to the company's headquarters in the madhapur neighborhood of Hyderabad.

Since its founding in 1992, Ananth Technologies has collaborated extensively with indian Defense and isro to supply vital components and subsystems for indian aerospace and missile projects.  Information on the components discovered in Jacobabad is still unknown.  The film immediately became well-known among Hyderabadis, who were taken aback and proud of the business that was quietly operating in their backyard while making a significant contribution to national security.
