The Pakistani city of Muridke, which is home to the infamous hafiz saeed and serves as the headquarters of the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba, has once again gained attention. Jyoti Malhotra, a YouTuber and suspected spy from haryana, allegedly received espionage training here. She was sent back to india for her next assignment after finishing her training, but the haryana police caught her before she could get there.

Days prior to the terror assault in pahalgam, Jyoti Malhotra had visited pakistan and stayed in Muridke for 14 days.  Hisar police sources claim that Jyoti herself disclosed this information while being questioned. She hasn't yet revealed the specifics of her assignment or if anyone else was involved, though. These inquiries are still being looked into by the police.

Jyoti is still being held by the hisar crime branch for five days.  More than 20 people are allegedly part of this network, and many of them are thought to be social media influencers, according to authorities, who say she is not acting alone.

Freedom to Move in Restricted Pakistani Areas
Jyoti reportedly traveled easily throughout pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Muridke, and sensitive areas of Pakistan-occupied kashmir, despite limitations for the majority of Indians.  At the request of Ehsan-ur-Rahim (also known as Danish), who works at the Pakistani High Commission in india, a Pakistani intelligence operative named Shakir arranged for Pakistani police to offer her security.

Possible Link to pahalgam Attack
Although Jyoti denies it, hisar police believe her to be involved in the pahalgam incident.  According to investigations, she was in kashmir three days before the incident, even going to the precise spot where 26 tourists were killed by terrorists after their identities and religion were confirmed.  In response, the indian Army began Operation Sindoor.  Additionally, according to police investigations, Jyoti maintained communication with Danish, the official from the pakistan Embassy, during Operation Sindoor, sharing confidential information.

Constant Contact with Pakistani Operatives
Frequently, Jyoti received calls from connections in pakistan, particularly Shakir, whose number she had stored under the identity 'Jat Randhawa.'  Harish Malhotra, her father, disputes these claims, nevertheless.  He claims that Jyoti made a lot of friends in pakistan while there and only went there to make videos.  She kept up these friendships even after she returned to India.  Harish requests the restoration of Jyoti's seized phone, laptop, and other possessions and queries whether speaking with friends overseas is now illegal.
